I had tried before disabling the APM but couldn't succeed. This time around I was able to install the lite version of Windows XP. But while installing the chipset drivers, the blue screen popped with stop error message. I reinstalled it, it was working fine without the motherboard drivers but again while downloading the same message came up.
I guess it could be some hardware problem.
