Default Suggest Internal 2TB HDD

Hello everyone,

I am going to buy an Internal 2TB HDD this week. HDD going to be used for secondary storage purposes. I have a WD Caviar Green 2 TB , and contrary to what people say that it does not perform that well , i cannot say i have any complaint against it.

What would the best 2 TB to buy now ?? I am looking to buy within Friday. Price should be as less as possible

Anyone knows if WD Blue 2 TB available in Kolkata ? How much is it priced at ?? Anyone know anything about new Seagate Green Drives ?? Or should i just go with another WD Green ??
PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST WD BLACK i do not need it cannot afford it.

You can try Hitachi. Its 7200rpm 2tb drive would cost some 5-5.5k. And from what I have seen from online reviews, Seagate Green is a better performer compared to WD Green.

And WD Blue are available up to 1tb only. So your options are pretty much limited.

5-5.k ? That is much more than what i have WD Green 2 TB is 4200 . SO is Seagate 7200RPM Drives are so costly ?

1k premium is ok imo. Better go for Seagate Green. Even I am planning to get one within a couple of months.

you can get Seagate Green 2TB drive for as low as 4k only

Ok Final tomorrow morning , will buy 2 TB Seagate 5900RPM Drive [ or same WD Green 2 TB , which ever is cheaper ] , hopefully will get under 4k. Any other last minute suggestions ?

My WD is giving me some problems, don't no why. While booting, its not getting properly detected by BIOS and subsequently by Windows. And this is just 7-8 months old.

Try the Seagate instead. It has better performance compared to WD.

Bought Seagate 2 TB Green 5900RPM , for 4k , all inclusive.

From Computer Gallery [ It is diagonally opposite of Supreme ]
