Default Is it a good deal for present ?

Hi,

I am getting an used Core2Quad q9550 and used Asus P5Q pro motherboard at 10.5 ( shipped ) ?

or, get a used MSI P43 Neo motherboard at 2.5K (shipped) instead ?

Is this a good deal or shall i wait and get Sandy bridge processors after 1 year when new Intel processors will be laid out ?

Why pay over 10k to get a used system when newer ones are available for the same price.
A Phenom II X4 955 with DDR3 RAM will match the performance of that system and will save you some bucks. Or better still, you could go with Phenom II X6 1075. Total will be around 13k for proccy mobo.

This isnt a very good deal
Intel Core i5 2400 @Rs.9300
Asus P8H61-M LE B3 @Rs.3300

Total Rs.12600

Its only 2.1 k more than the older C2 Quad . But this is a better config.

Yes, better wait. No need for spending over 10k on a dead platform.
