Default error: windows shut down


sometimes, windows of my pc automatically shuts down .... i have attached an image to show what happens after that...

what should i do to prevent this from happening?

if u require any other info/config of my pc please tell.

Its called BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death). It usually comes with a hardware failure so if you getting this many times then one of your hardware is culprit I guess.

If you have attached a new hardware device, then remove it and see if the BSOD still persists. If you have two RAM sticks installed, try running system for a few hours on just either of them.
Also make sure, drivers for windows are installed and updated.

@adi2293: its BSOD usually happens when HDD has bad sectors or RAM is faulty
the BSOD has created a dump file in system do post that

Refit the RAM, check RAM for errors using this-
Memtest86 - Download Page

Do a error scan of HDD typing this in the Command prompt

Do an updated antivirus scan. or use this online AV
