APC UPS not working

i have bought br600ci-in APC UPS in April 2010 and in the beginning it gave backup of 9-10 minutes. But after a month or two it gave 1 minute backup only.So i called up the company and they replaced it.Again same thing happens after 2 months and again they replaced. Now they have replaced it three times but now same thing is happening . I have checked my power supply by an electrician and it is perfectly OK.My Pc is old therefore it gives only 10 minutes backup. I have kept ups on charging for 2 days but nothing happened.


Please help me.

I think you might have overloaded it with connecting everything to it. Whats your full config?

Also check ur earthing and Grid Voltage

Pentium 4 2.4 GHz Northwood ,500 GB Segate HDD,2 GB DDR RAM ,CRT Monitor syncmaster 753s,ADCOM Speakers.

I have only plugged monitor , cpu and modem in ups

Try using ony the CPU plugged in the UPS Plug the monitor to GRID using a spike guard or Voltage Stabilizer and see the backup time
