Red face monitor is in power saving mode

My monitor remains in power saving mode even my cpu works.I saw system fan and graphic card fan works perfectly.I removed my graphic card and tried, now my system is working and monitor supports but after the usage of short period of time when i restarts the previous problem reappears. Then the monitor will respond only after 2 or 3 hours. My system is core i3 2.4 ghz,3gb ram, nvidia 8500 and an ethernet card.

Default Re: monitor is in power saving mode

It is basically not getting the signal from the GPU. Try a different cable.
