Wifi Router Netgear WGR614 problem

Hi,

I have successfully configured this router using a Ethernet cable and able to use internet using wifi as well, but after a interval of 15-20 minutes internet got disconnected and my laptop is not able to find out and WiFi signal as well. I had tried searching wifi signal through another laptop but got same result. After switching off and on router again I am able to get the signal. I am using a Acer 5745g laptop which uses broadcom 802.11n WiFi network adapter.

kindly help me in this regard.

If ur getting the same problem using another Laptop then probably its the Router problem try updating the firmware of the router & see if the problem persists take it to the service center

* Try updating the Firmware
* Make sure there's LESS Obstructions in between your router and Laptop
* In 10.0.0.1, under Setup >> Wireless Settings, select:

# Mode => Upto 150 Mbps
#Security Options => WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]

Last option, go to service center if the problem persists

Hi its me mak here i prefer that u reset the router by admin login and then ur problem will be solved........................
