Default Connection From HDMI to VGA possible ?


I have screen play mx player with hdmi output. Can i buy a cable for HDMI to VGA.I have 22inch monitor with VGA & DVI input. Will this configuration work out ?

First : Check your Monitor manual for setup instructions.

Second : DVI doesn't carry audio so you'll need to run audio separately.

It will work or you can buy a converter for one of the ports but you will only get the performance of VGA/DVI not HDMI.

what will work dear ?

dude only Audio will not be carried, rest is all ok!!

And yes DVI doesnot support HDCP so NO FULL HD on this cable. Only a resolution upto : 1920×1200 or 2560×1600 that also if the DVI has all 24 pins.!!
