Default RAM Problem I guess.

Well, I am posting on behalf of my friend.....

Well since recently, whenever he reinstalls his his OS, (Windows XP or 7) after a few minutes, hours or days his display turns upside down....

If he restarts his PC, then he get a message saying:

"Windows has recovered from a serious error"
and the files which were recovered are:
"mini051711-01.dmp"
and
"sysdata.xml"

And then some time later his OS stops working and he has to reinstall again....
(He's stuck in a infinity loop :O )

I looked over the internet and it seems to be a RAM problem, just want to confirm with the tech guys in here....

Mini Dump Analysis in Windows 7 Home Premium

How to read the small memory dump files that Windows creates for debugging

C:\Windows\Minidump\Minidump.dmp.

did you even try to search how to look for minidumps???
these are the first few results from google.

now dont tell us you dont know how to upload stuff to the net

and it looks like a ram problem to me.
try replacing/changing the ram or switching the modules

Grab any linux live distro. (puppy- 125mb) . Boot from it. you will be able to access the minidumps.
Also if the system runs properly in linux, then we will know that its a windows/driver problem. If it doesn't work , then we will know that its a hardware problem.
