5.1 speakers and card

I am thinking of buying the Creative T6060 5.1. Do i need to buy a 5.1 sound card also or is the on-board sound card good enough?

depends on what mobo you have. T6060 is decent set of speakers. if possible, get a Creative Live! 5.1 atleast to take the load off the CPU.

I've heard creative soundcard's have some driver issues on windows7 like mp3 2ch to 6ch.
I don't know if this has been solved or not.

beware creative audigy bass redirection does not work in windows7 so Win7=No Bass dont know about 5.1 its a pity that we don't have many choices in india regarding sound cards

Lynx India are selling Audiotrak sound cards don't know how they are but u can have a look at their website
