Ram Prob

hai guys...help me sort out...bought a new mobo asus p5g41c m-lx,i installed a corsair xms2 2gb ddr2 800mhz ram(recently rma'd hence new) but the system wont boot....tried with my old 2*1gb ddr2 667mhz ram,system works an everythin is fine...is there a prob with my rma'd ram....using new psu,no problem with the rest of the rig so far.....'m confused help me out guys...
My rig.
Intel c2d E7200,
Asus p5g41c m-lx,
2 gb ddr2 667mhz ram,
500gb hdd,
1 dvd rw drive,
coolermaster ep 460 watt

Try using the RAM with another PC if possible.
Try using the new RAM a single stick at a time to see if it works then.

If you are putting the RAM correctly in the slot and it doesn't work then I guess the RAM is faulty.
