Red face problem with mouse


I have a compaq mouse there is problem with it,when i connect it to pc there is a error sound come from cpu not from speakers sound like tittittittttt.and all lights of keyboard blinking and mouse not work and when i connect other mouse work smoothly.mouse is not work also on other pcs.i dont know what the problem if anyone help then pls.

If other PC's also behave unexpectedly with that mouse, then the mouse itself has problem I guess.

Replace it if it's still under warranty otherwise it's time to get a new one I guess.

check out the pins of the socket of the mouse. If it ok then try with a new mouse.

Most probably that mouse is faulty because if if there was problem in your PC then it should have worked fine on other PC but sadly it didn't so its mouse that is faulty.

my mouse is ps/2 .i think it is faulty.its time to buy new one....................

Yeah most probably.

You will get cheap usb mouse in local shop from Rs.100.
