Default Laptop Hard Disk Partition


I got my Dell Inspiron N5030 Laptop with preinstalled Windows 7 64Bit Home Premium OS. It has only one drive(C of Size 298GB. So i want to increase the number of partition without formatting and without losing Original OS. Please tell me the step by step procedure to do the same!!
