    Smile MFD or scanner

    Hi friends,

I am in need of a scanner. However if the price difference between a basic MFD (scan/copy/print...no fax) and a scanner is not much, I would like to go for the former. I have the follwing brands in mind...

    • Brother
    • Canon
    • HP
    • Lexmark
    • Any other reliable brand you might suggest

    Other requirements are as follows...

Scanning : Looking for flatbed scanner only (and not page feeder). I shall be scanning books that might go upto 2 inches in thickness

Next in priority would be copying (Xerox) and lastly printing.

In case of a MFD, I would like to go for mono (not colour) printer only...if a laser MFD is not too costly (compared to inkjet) then it will be great.

Waiting for your feedbacks to so rush them
