locked mmc

I am using a nokia 6233... the mmc has got locked by mistake and i dunno the password... cant format it coz it asks for password. cant use fexplorer as its only for S60... can some1 pls help me... what should i do?

Are you sure that you locked it ? I am asking this because Nokia phones are known to password protect memory cards by its own. This has happened to me too. Unfortunately there is no way to unlock it. (I haven't found any way to unlock my card)

try reading card using laptop/PC card reader if possible and format, it should work

I know. The same thing happened to me. When I found my card locked, I couldn't figure out when I did that. I tried all the passwords I use elsewhere but didn't work.

When I Googled this, I was sure it is a phone problem. Try Googling. You'll se that you're not alone suffering from this problem.

use memory card unlocker but it will format your data....

Buddy format the memory in windows explorer

got to any mobile repairing vendor, ask them to remove ur password, they will format the memory card using sone unlocker tool and the password will be removed
