Default 2000Mhz RAM

Hello everybody,

I've bought 4gb of 2000mhz ram alongwith a hexacore amd+gigabyte 890gpaud3h mobo.
my bios is showing 1333mhz as ram speed...
any solution or a way to make this ram run in 2000 mhz speed?

thanks
saiki

@ OP - yep, tell us what cpu and mobo you have ?

Post CPU-Z screen Shot of your CPU/Mobo/Memory and SPD tab as well.

Default Re: 2000Mhz RAM

what cpu-z is showing you as ram speed ?? I remember when even I set speed to 880 Mhz bootup screen was showing it as 667 Mhz but it was running at 880 Mhz anyway - verified by bios settings and cpu-z.

your mobo supports max mem speed of 1866Mhz ( OC ) - so I don't think it's possible to get 2000 Mhz even with OC.

For now try these :

Update the mobo Bios
Post the CPU-Z CPU and memory tab screenshot - it's very important !
