what to do with this disk? can't RMA because it was a part of a pre-built system from f**king Chirag. (pardon me but i am angry as the same HDD before this also crashed within 4 months.)

will backup of course but why is WD having problems? bad cables is acceptable but why damaged sector?? two instances in a row??

have you bought hardware from a proper shop..

You bought both from same shop?

They might be selling you rejected/damaged stuff.

it was part of a pre-built system from Chirag. You've heard the brand i think.

anyway i am getting new rig so probably also gonna get new HDD.
1 TB WDC Blue according to Sam's suggestion.

yes the first HDD was from them (because that's the original system). and within 4 months HDD crashed and they replaced cabinet with a duplicate and here we go again. though this HDD is now 1.5 years old. they might be selling **** i dunno. i never wanted to buy branded pc. dad's work.

well now i've shown him the probs. he agreed.
