Seagate External HD

I use Seagate Free Agent go 250GB hard Disk. Many time when i copy or Install directly from my ext. hard disk. But When i try to safe remove i get


this kind of error. I know this problem is because of some program running from ext hd. But i'm not running anything even then i get this error. I restart my computer and then i safe remove. Please tell me how to prevent this error.

Goto task manager. Find explorer.exe from the Processes tab and "End Process". Switch to Applications tab, Click on "New Task". type "explorer" and press Enter. Now try removing the hd again.
