Ups problem?

Hello,
to all of you.
I have a Microtek double battery double backup 800 va ups.it is a year old.actually, when i bought this ups on that time, it gives the backup of more than 50 to 60 mintues(monitor off), but, now it gives only the backup of 30 mintues(monitor off), also previously it takes more than 5 hours for full charging but now it only takes 2 hours for full charging.i don't know what is happening?,please let me know how i can save the life of the battery? Thank you

yes. that means, the battery has weakened. if it's still under warranty, get the battery replaced. Given that it is getting weaker, you can't do much now. Next time you get a new battery/UPS, make sure that you don't overload it. Check the max wattage your PC takes and get compatible UPS.
