RAM upgrade

Hi There

I've made this PC 1.8 years ago with ur help
Now I'm back for upgrade suggestions

My Config:
Q8200 @ 2.8 Ghz, GA-EP45C-DS3R, Palit HD4850, WD 1TB Black, 2x2GB 5-5-5-15 800(1:1) Mhz Kingston, Vx2235wm-5 (2ms, C.R 1000(typ), DVI),Creative 5.1, Corsair Vx450W

In at my place (delhi) rates are as:-

RAM
DDR3 CORSAIR 4GB(1333): Rs. 2000
DDR2-2GB simmtronics: Rs.1262

Now Since I already have DDR2 4GB & want to upgrade to 8GB
Shall I go for DDR2 or 3?
and what speed?

HDD:
additional 1TB WD green (Rs. 2500) or Blue (???) just want to increase capacity.

Though not actively considering it will Finding & buying another Palit HD4850 will be better or replacing with better card, considering adding another Gx Card will tax PSU?

Just checked the memory support list for my board
and for some reason it did not have 4GB memory module for DDR3 ?
but initially it was given that I can go upto 8GB in DDR3.

So is it that My selection is already made and have to go with ddr2?

Will the above mentioned simmtronics memory will work good with already installed kingston?

8Gb? what the purpose of the rig? i hope its not gaming.

for now, use the HD4850 or if you get a good deal, sell it off (for ~5k) & than buy a better card. BTW, whats the budget for the graphics card? it depends on your budget.

for HDD, get Green. can also try for Blue. but do try get HDD with 2 platters.

Went to N.P and bought 2*2 Gig of kingston 800Mhz
PC working really smooth and gaming have improved as well
I agree most games does not use so much ram
But being a power user I've loads of stuff running in background so it sort of helps to have 8gigs

RAM costed 3100
also bought 16 GB sandisk cruzer for 1025
& a TV tuner external Intex for 1150 but its not good quality
