sony ericsson w350i memory card problem

I am having a sony ericsson w350i mobile.from few days it shows a message to inser memory stick though the memory card is already there.the problem won't last for a longer time it just says like that and after one or two minutes it gets corrected and while playing music in walkman player sometimes it says play back failed,after i press play again and again for 3-4 times it starts to play.i have already scanned the memory card for virus and there was no virus in it and i have also formatted it.please help me guys.

try taking out and reinserting your memory card

check your memory card in some another mobile.. if same prob exist then this might be due to virus attack...
otherwise it may happen that memory slot is damaged.. sometimes it work n sometyms not..

@pulkitpopli2004, i scanned it for virus and there was no virus and i have also formatted it.btw this problem has started when i removed the card from the slot without switching off the mobile.is it possible to repair if there is any damage to the card slot?
