Exclamation noisy phenom 955 stock fan

i have recently bought an phenom 955BE and using it with the stock cooler on asus m4A87TD Evo mainboard

now my problem is that even at normal operating conditions its very noisy
even at 1100-1200rpm and 36-40C it is more than audible and is really irritating in night

i have cool n quiet enabled in bios and have power saver setting selected in windows

are all phenom series coolers noisy or do i have a faulty one

will cooler master hyper tx3 be any good?? (i can only afford that)

^^ the fan isn't good one. so its noisy. as you can afford only TX3, so get it. TX3 will cool it + allow you try some overclock also safely

yah. under normal operation its should be quite or inaudible. but when under load (read gaming) the fan will spin fast, but still the noise will be lower than AMD stock coolers

about the HSF, not much idea. Hyper212 (not the +) is a good buy. priced below 3k. but please confirm it once.

and for HD5670, if its priced below 5.5k, get the 1Gb version. cause its been long since HD5670 came out. so waiting more mayn't yield the expected result. you may get slight discount (100-150 bucks) in HD5770 or other HD5series cards but that mainly will be to clear stock & pave way for HD6670 or some cards like this from the green camp.

cm 212 plus is available at smc for 1850

is it worth spending 500 bucks for 212 plus as against tx3??
coz there isnt much to choose from the specs between the two

will the 212 be quieter than tx3 as it has a bigger fan and lower rpm than tx3?

also i noticed that smc is offering 212 model RR-B10-212P-G1(on cm -usa site) while delta peri are offering RR-B10-212P-GP (on cm -india site)!!!!

whats the diff between the two???
is 1850 a good price for 212??
