Post DDR2 1066Mhz upgrade on Asus P5E

I have PC purchased 2 years before as ASUS P5E motherboard , Intel Quad core processor , 2 GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM, 350X2 GB SATA as RAID0, GE Force GTX 8600, Cooler Master cabinet and smps.

It runs windows 7 ultimate 64bit.
I have not done any bios upgrade.

The PC runs very slow when I use adobe photo shop cs5 and or Corel X3 for designing huge (10 feet by 10 feet ) banner/flex.
Obliviously the problem is with memory.

I want to upgrade to 4 GB DDR2 1066MHz; The Kingston kit will cost me around Rs.5200/- But I have seen on many online forums that there are problems with 1066Mhz RAM. (KHX8500D2T1K2/4G http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/conf...X8500D2T1K2/4G )

Can you please suggest me whether I should buy new 2X2GB 1066Mhz Kingston Kit and throw away my old 800Mhz or by 2GB addition 800Mhz RAM.

The graphics card I am using is very old and I want to upgrade with two ATI/AMD graphics cards with Cross Fire. Please suggest 2 graphics card which can be crossed fire on ASUS P5E within range of 8 to 12 thousands.

^^
If you plan to keep this system long, then a 1066 Mhz (533MHz) x 2 x 2GB module architecture would be good for you. System would become more 'snappy'. Regarding GPU(s) what is the budget and what exact PSU/CPU (model number) you have..?

EDIT:
Would not be possible to get high-end cards for 12K. Others can suggest better.

To Run the RAM at 1066Mhz i guess u have to manually set the timings , speed and Voltages in BIOS or it will run at defaults ... though this is not an issue. Also 4GB will improve your performance compared to 2GB.

About the GPU , Do you need 2 Gfx card under 12K or a single under 12k ?

For your budget 6850 is a good choice... under 12K

The processor is Q9450 adn PSU is Cooler mster 600W (eXtreme Power Plus 600W - Cooler Master).

I want both graphics card under 12K.

Also is it wort buying additional RAM of 4GB 800Mhz and make my total of 6GB 800Mhz or thro old 2GB 800Mhz and get the new 4GB with 1066Mhz ?

Why did you said 1066 Mhz (533MHz) x 2 x 2GB module ? its 1066 or 533?
