Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
I think he meant that budget for the whole pc and not just for the mobo.
@savithk
Which cpu are you planning to buy. Without knowing that we cannot say much.

Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
Rather than whole PC type of thing, specify explicitly what are the items you need to purchase, motherboard, CPU, Ram, Graphics card, PSU, cabinet, everything. Then I think forum members will suggest you a better solution regarding the rig.

Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
How are you getting this in 10 to 12k??
Your Build
AMD Phenom II X2 555 @ 5K
should i go for ASUS M4A78LT-M LE @ 3k
i need 2 GB RAM @ 2k
Graphics card ( which model )
PSU
Thats 10k already and you need GPU and PSU too.
My suggestion
AMD Athlon II X3 435 @ 3600
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H @ 4500
Kingston Value RAM 2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 1750
FSP Saga II 400W @ 2000
Total 11850
You didn't mention HD in your build. If needed
WD Caviar Blue 500GB @ 1850
Total 13700

Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
Who says that it runs hot. You don't need a cooler.
Anyways a decent cooler will cost around Rs 1500.

Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
The guy is also posting on chip so just saying the same thing as I said there:
There's a difference between warm and hot. Don't assume and speculate unecessarily. Stock cooler will suffice on stock settings. Since you are not bothered to answer anyone's reply in chip and digit, there's no point in advising you any further because its seems you're not interested.

till you not unlock it (to quadcore), it should run cool. once unlock it may start problem. my friend unlocked his X2 555 to X4 B55 today & the initial temperature after some use jumped to 40degree.

Re: which motherboard ( AMD )
For 10k you can only get a decent motherboard, cpu and ram. For psu and gpu you will need more. I'm currently searching for cpu, gpu and ram for 10k.
