Default TV Tuner card Compatibilty and PSU Help

So I'm planning to buy this card:

AVerTV Super 009M733 WMC video

My rig is

Athlon II 635
2GB Corsair 1333Mhz
Gigabyte GMA-880-UD2H
VX450 Corsair
Zotac GTX 460 1GB
DVD Write Samsung

Now will the psu be able to run the tv tuner card along with this rig? And will the card fit well on the mobo considering GTX 460 is huge?

i don't think 450w psu will be enough for your graphics card and tv tuner. Tv tuner wont take too much of power. But the gpu will.
To fit the card you need to worry about the computer case. It should be big enough to fit inside the case. It will fit easily on the mobo

Case is Cooler Master 310 Elite.
I think it'll fit inside the case,
but will it run? Chances are psu might blow up?

if so...any other external cards? i have a 17inch crt by the way.

Gtx460 is a powerful card.
I suggest you to go to the official cooler master website. There you will find a utility to measure the wattage requirement for your current computer components. So according to that you can look for a compatible psu.
That website gave my system a wattage rating of 400w so currently i am also looking for a 400w psu for my system.

I've already checked it. It used to give me 450 w earlier. weirdly now they give me 550 plus for the same config.

Any external cards which draw external power i can go for?

With external cards, you will only be able to view the TV and not be able to record anything, just telling you just in case.

External TV Tuner Cards are good too if only you want to watch TV.

Here are some recommendations from my side.

Theitdepot - Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle Gold

I have been using PixelView Play TV Pro for the last 8 years and have no issues. I do not have any graphics card though and my AMD is also quite old Sempron 2400

Best thing to avoid any problems will be to go for vx550 corsair available at theitdepot.com @ Rs. 5k

Thanks for the info and the suggestions. I can't go for vx550 as it's out of my budget. I think external ones should work okay for me as the GPU I assume will not take much load while the card is plugged in? I can unplug it from the usb anytime I'm doing GPU intesive work like gaming. Correct me if I'm wrong here, though.
