AMD PII X2 555 BE Unlock core Problem!!!

pals....

i bought a pc 8 months ago..config....
AMD PII X2 555 BE + ASUS M4A78LT-M LE + 2GB DDR3
and used the mobo to unlock the rest of the cores......

the pc is working fine...

so yesterday i bought another pc with same mobo and proc....

but this time when i try 2 unlock the cores....

i only get, "Enabling Unleashing Mode Failed"

tried every setting in acc, also changed the core settings.....
but all failed, tried to decrease the ht frequency from 2000 to 1600
but that 2 failed....

also downgraded the bios of the new mobo to the old 1 but that 2 failed...

needed help....

did you reset the cmos.

yes ...reset the cmos battery and then try again

could be the problem with bios too coz ASUS bios are becoming pain these days

k will try 2 reset the cmos battery and c.....
as i have tried 2 upgarde the bios adn also downgrade the bios.....
but it didnt work......

I had heard some months back that new batches of X2 555 BE may not unlock successfully.
Since you bought the processor recently, it may be the issue in your case.

i think thats the case...
cause i have done everything 2 unlock it... but its all in vain....
the buyer was giving me an old stocked x2 550 be proce..but i thought
its better 2 go in for a new 555
****,,if i would have taken the old stock wala..then it would have been a quad core...

do you enable the mob core unlocker switch.........???? Check it first....... then enable again...
