Help pls: its Audio Fluctuation

I hav Compaq Laptop(AMD) running windows 7. When playing song in any audio player, it stops after playing 20-30 seconds, then i have to restart system and then i play song the same thing occurs. device manger shows device is working properly, i re-installed Windows 7 but no gain, same thing in XP
