Default Will my rig support 1 TB Internal HDD

I have 1 GB RAM , Core 2 Duo 2.13 Ghz and have a 60 GB Internal IDE HDD. I plan to upgrade my HDD to either 500 GB or 1 TB. Can someone please suggest whether my Rig will support a 1 TB HDD and do I have to upgrade RAM for better results.

the details you've provided is very little and you have not told the model name of your mobo though as you have told you have a c2d cpu based rig your rig will support 1TB or even 2TB SATA HDD .

Hard disk size is os dependent. Windows xp and above will support any size just remember to keep the file system NTFS. Fat32 can only support max single file size of 4gb.

HDD capacity in earlier days were dependent on the mobo and bios and the OS though modern day's mobos has no such limitation.

Its obvious that he is not using UNIVAC.... and its 2010... so some things are obviously assumed.

sure he is not using a UNIVAC from 1950's

I've assumed about his modern age rig by looking at the Core 2 Duo 2.13 Ghz word.

Ok guys based on your answers looks like I can go for a 1 TB Internal HDD.
Just wanted to inform that the motherboard I have is DG 965 RY. Though I know it may not be of any consequence.
