Angry k8v-mx alternate


I had a Asus k8v-mx motherboard which is not producing any output from last week. As per an engineer motherboard should be replaced. But the problem is the same model is not available nowadays in my place. i m using (AMD Athlon 64 2800+ Processor & DDR 400MHz ( PC3200).

pls tel me which motherboard model would be an alternate to k8v-mx. help needed

That's a socket 754 motherboard?
It's almost impossible to find one now unless someone somewhere may have one lying around.
Also, some may suggest buying a used one if you find one.
But i suggest you avoidthat as it may die on you just after you have bought it- happened to some people.

If your computer is really old and you do need to use one regularly, it's best if you buy yourself a new one.
Entry-level stuff is not very expensive imho and it will be way faster too.
