Is Philips SHP 2700 still available?

a friend of mine is looking for new headphones.I searched a bit and found that Philips SHP 2700 are real sweet deal.But most of the post about them were old, posted in 2008-09.
are those still available?and what is pricing?still around 1.5k?

yes they are available.
If it is old stock bargain on it.
I bought SHP8900 in a nice deal 1.7K bought a month back in Delhi from Nehru Place, a shop had it and was giving me this good price so I grabbed it. I was actually considering to buy SHP2700, whose price was some 1100-1300 lesser than the actual MRP of SHP2700 is 2008 release of philips(you can see this on their website) that is why you may be getting 2008-09.
I love philips big ear cup headset like SHP2700 and SHP8900, nothing beats them in comfortability, but beware they do not have the best bass in the range.
alternatives are senheisser HD201 and sony XDR100
beside these you may search Soundmagic (company name) headsets, their headsets are also very nice I heard considering their VFM and all. I had bought one headset for chating purpose for my friend.
