Laptop Battery Problem

All of a sudden, my laptop battery has started giving me problems. The error it reflects as "plugged in, not charging". I removed the battery, wait for a min, and reinsert the battery, its charging again. I waited for 15 mins and it got charged from 83-88%.

However, when I boot to windows 7, it again reflects the same error and the charging gets stopped. What can cause the error ? drivers ? My laptop is 2 months old, Sony Vaio VPCEB14EN using Windows 7. Pleas help.

woudn't it be better to take it to the service center if it is just 2 months old? coz opening the lappy might void the warranty

Yeah, its two months old. I already solved this issue coolbuddy. There was some problem with the Vaio care settings. See the screenshot below :



I just removed the two ticks above and see below :



Sometimes, these stupid settings can spoil your day. Again, thx for your help.
