Upgrade for 10k

Hello folks.
My bro needs an upgrade.
Intel C2d over Amd quad core.
Things required...
CPU-(AMD,Preferbly,a quad core)
MOBO-(anything cheap and worthy,DDR3)
RAM - Kingston 2GB DDR3 @2.9K.
Daynet ram suck,dont they?

Given maximum budge-10k
Can Manage to add extra 2k if its worth

2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 2.5k

Hey sorry people to start another thread when one answering my query can be just a couple of scrolls below mine.
Well if you are already here..can you answer my few questions??
Q1.How do delet our nonsense threads.
Q2.Man how do you guys put your PC's configuration(or anything else for that matter) below your posts? Is that called 'signature'?
Q3.Its sorta a request,,,can someone come with a thread that can directly give CPU+MOBO+RAM config for appropriate budget,so that n00bs like me dont make threads like this one over & over again. You know,its the most important part of the upgrade.
We can also add G-Card to the list..

I could've made the thread myself but i am a lazy a$s. And even my xams are comming.
Oh well..gotta go.

dont knowg...its for a friend.
Btw,he had a c2d with nvidia 8500.
I see,sir, that you've given a config for exactly 12 k. So is this config better than any 10k config with a cheaper mobo???

as far as i know, that friend of mine made me work with the WASD keys while he moved the mouse.

i dont think someone with no left to right hand coordination would get into extreme gaming. Altho he plays nfs series..
It would be used for minor photoshoping,some programming..so and so..

I kno the quad core is not necessary,but he wont be upgrading for a long time then.

all good boards will cost around the same...if you want something cheaper get Biostar TA785G3 @ 3.7k
athlon 635 is a good one for that work..or he can get 630 for some 300 - 400 bucks cheaper which will also be a good option..
for ram get kingston. g.skill ones cost 100 more.

about your questions -
yes that is signature.
we can not start a new thread for cpu mobo ram. reasons - everyone has different needs for his budget. moreover one would always like his query to be answered in an organized way. a single thread will create a mess for everyone with many queries to be answered at same time.

Also, components change every 3-4 months, the thread would become redundant that way. it would be impossible to update it every now and then.
We really don't have any problem answering new threads, so no problem.
To delete a post, click on edit and then you'll get the option to delete.
To change signature, click on quick links above the thread and click edit signature. TD forum doesn't support HTML in siggys (which I'm pretty pissed off about, BTW), only plain text siggys.

As for config, X4 635 should cost 4.8k and for mobo, get Biostar TA785G3 HD @4k. There's nothing better thatn this at this price point. Or you could get Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2 @2.7k
