Default Help Upgrade On My P5B Mobo

Hi guys, would ya all please help me Upgrade on my P5B Deluxe Wifi Mother board? It's been 3yrs now
My Pc configuration is as below:-

Mobo:-Asus p5b

Proccy:- E6400 (2.13 Ghz)

Ram:- Zion 2Gb DDR2 667 Mhz

Gfx:- Nvidia 8600GT 256 MB

PSU:- 450V's

First i would like to upgrade my RAM to 4GB atleast, but i'm not sure if my MOBO supports DDR3? Then should i upgrade my existing RAM with higher frequency one or update with the same frequency. I guess my mobo supports upto 8GB can i do that???

Now for the Graphics card, does it matter whether it's DDR2 Or DDR3 i mean when it comes to compatibility with my MOBO.

if your board got 4 DIMM slots, you may install additional 2Gb DDR2-800Mhz ram. it'll work at 667Mhz. if your upgrade your ram, try OC the processor to 2.5Ghz.

no it doesn't matter. you can install a DDR5 memory based gfx card on a DDR1 based motherboard without any problem.

Thanks For Quick Replying, I was wondering if my previous ram would under clock my new 800Mhz Ram, then why not Opt for 667Mhz instead

Yeah i have 4 Slots for Ram, two of them are occupied with 1Gb Ram. So what if i get 2X2Gb(of 667Mhz) instead for the rest slots. Would it be there any Power or Heating Issues

As i have ZION Ram previously installed, which one should i go for this time? And please provide approx price.

Mmm never did overclocking, so i think i would leave it as it is.

cause 667Mhz rams hard to find. DDR2 is almost obsolete now (due to sudden discard of support by both AMD & Intel). or you may sell off your 2Gb ram & opt for 2 * 2Gb DDR2-800Mhz ram. price depends from city to city. so can't say anything about it. should cost same as DDR3 i.e. 4Gb for 4.5-5k.
