Default What is the meaning of RAM timings......?????/


Hello Guys....
I am asking 1 silly question about RAM....please explain it to me.
What is the difference between these two different timings ram.....

1) 7-8-7-24-2N
2) 9-9-9-27-2N

they are latency, its a delay which is occured when accessing data from the ram.. if its too high it can cause a bottleneck to the system.

its measured in clock cycles, like 7-8-7-24-2

and of course lower the number, better the performance

You can check the RAM timings with CPU-Z. It's free and can be downloaded from CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
