Cant record the audio of my PC

I hav connected my PC with my LG 42" LED TV via HDMI.....

The Graphics card that i hav used to connect to the TV is ATI radeon 5670 HD

the problem is, that i can hear the audio from the TV....
But, i m not able to record Vat i hear......the Volume control does not give me an option to record it.

i hav tried Audacity for recording, which also does not give me an option to select the Audio Output itself as the recording device.....

Pls help, coz i need to record a few clips urgently.......
