Suggest A CPU for 3d-Animation

My frend wants to buy a AMD based CPU for 3d animation work

[ MOBO + CPU + GFX CARD + SMPS + CABINET + RAM]

Budget between 15k - 20k ..

Budget is way way way way too too too low! for a decent workstation its has to be 60K!

Within 20 k it is almost impossible to get a rig for animation ur rig will cry when u friend work on after effects maya/max nd other softwares they need a good GPU ( to handel viewport /2.0( in maya) need atleast 4 gb of ram while working on after effects well try this but i strickly suggest you to tell him to increase his budget atleast to 40 k. in 20 k you will get

Transcend 2GB DDR3 1333MHz C9 @ 2.3k
Cooler Master Elite 310 @ 1.5k/ Zebronics Krish @ 1k

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB @ 2k
LG 22x DVD @ 1.1k
Gigabyte LC400 80+ 400W @ 1.6k
With rest of money get a 512mb 9500 gt graphic card but plz don't blame me after 6 months when this config wiill start crying when ur friend will work on after effects, maya/max .

I had mentioned that i need only cpu,gfxcard,mobo,ram,psu n cabinet

i had thought of following

Athlon II X3 < 4k
Biostar TA785G3 < 4k
CM elite 310 = 1.5k or bizli 1.2k
SAGA II 400W <2k
RAM 2.2k

so 20 - 13.5 = 6.5k
what is the cost of HD5670 ? wont it handle thease graphics application ?

512 mb willl costaround 5.2k nd 1 gb 6.5 k if possible upgrade ur ram to 4.gb

NO, it won't! First of all you need 4GB RAM atleast & a good quad core proccy atleast!

^^ 4Gb is a must. also quad core is needed. but a tri core won't steal much of the performance. will it? also OP can try unlock the 4th core.

Hmm can take care of 4gb ram , but is quad core really required ? is triple core not sufficient with a GFX card? yea i can even try to unlock 4th core if my frens luck is gud

Wat you suggest shivam " Athlon II X4 635 2.9GHz @ 4.8k or 955 Be", i think it will handel maya noram modelling nd rendring , but not extreme high poly mesh , nd high res texturing nd 4k mental ray rendring.
