Default Advice needed for new 1TB HDD and UPS

I am planning to buy a seagate 1TB HDD(Model ST310005N1A1AS-RK cache: 32MB) and APC 650W UPS(BE650Y-IN) tomorrow in SP Road Bangalore

NOTE: Already i have a seagate 500GB HDD

please let me whether 1TB seagate will be good or I should opt for 1TB WD HDD

What do you mean by good? Ofcourse it is a goo one and if you want VFM, then go for WD.

As i understand u are perhaps looking for which has a better support ; how was ur experience with seagate so far ?

I don't know about Western Digital's support but seagate has so far worked for me.

Moreover u have not mentioned which WD u are looking for caviar blue/green/black .. i think mostly u get blue .. but if u do get green or black .. they will give u better performance at premium price ...

atleast i look for good support specially for Hard disks .. if u find its good for Western Digital .. u can go for either

first of all how are you going to be using the HDD for i.e. Data Dump or OS host drive?
2nd wats your budget?
i would suggest WD coz its has a longer warranty(5yrs) plus a better service(home pick up & drop).
