I am going to buy a 1TB External Hard Drive very soon. For that I've done some research on the Internet and I found these two drives

Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive

Western Digital My Book Essential 1TB External Hard Drive

Please help me in selecting one from these two. I can spend 5K - 6K on an external drive.

Buy the seagent free agent desk 1TB external adapter powered not the USB powered. I own the product and its a very fast external HDD. I am really happy with it. it comes with a 5 years warranty. It should cost you between 5k-5.5k

I have bought segate free agent 1tb external hhd few days back... satisfied with it ... is really fast... and 5 years warranty... comes at 4.5k to 5k... go for it...
