help needed to connect lcd tv with hdmi...?

Hi guys..,hope to get my psu tommorow. I.e. The burnt cm xtreme 600w..' but I will b replacing it with a vx550..'

Now guys I have bought a Hdmi cable to connect it with my 32 inch lcd tv.. But here r few ques..'

First of all my mobo has a Hdmi output and built in Hd 4250..,will it suffice in 32 inch lcd if connected through Hdmi..'secondly will Hdmi work better than vga..lastly I have a 5.1 ch speakers and its connected with the mobo sound card..,if I connect the mobo with Hdmi cable will the audio pass In the tv speakers..or only video will pass..?

Guys I know this sound little noobish but have no idea of Hdmi cables rather than vga or dvi..' thnkz in adv..'

your board will handle the LCD but will not support games @ 1080p.

HDMI is always better than VGA (HDMI = Digital / VGA = Analogue)

Couldn't understand your last question. But the HDMI will pass sound in the TV Speaker.

Last ques was abt the audio as Hdmi transfers both audio and video through same cable so I am confused abt the audio output..I mean the audio will come from home theater or tv speakers...?
As my home theater is connected with motherboard sound card jacks..so If I connect Hdmi cables will it also take the sound along with video..' In tv speakers..? As I want only the video to b transferred in Hdmi...?

hi guys.., as i suspected the same thing happened after i connected my lcd tv with hdmi cable...? the sound travels in my tv speakers and connot reconize my home theatre system...!!

now if i install a sound card will this problem would b solved..?

I think there must be setting like HDMI-HDTV (audio enabled) and HDMI-HDTV (audio disabled).

as u don't want to send audio to the tv choose the latter one.

it must be in the ATI control panel for you case.

as mine is Nvidia Control panel --->Display--->Change Resolution

hi guys..got the solution for this problem..

it was in the realtec audio enhancer program..it had a option of audio output and i chosse speakers in place of hdmi..it worked..

now i am watching hd movies in 32 inch full hd tv with digital dolby surround sound effect in my living room...!!!
