Exclamation effect of emf on hdd


i m having a external hdd and i want to know whether the emf of my cellphone will affect my hdd if i keep on it?

Why would you want to keep your mobile fone on your external hard disk? Can't you keep it on the table?

mostly it is advised to keep instruments which emit radiation away from other electric components. MOBO is specifically kept inside a pouch which protects it from any accidental radiation before it is being used by anyone.
So answer to your question is yes.

This reminds me I should also stop keeping my external HDD over my speakers/USP as it may get harm...
