i checked out dell 14r model at dell store in bandra mumbai...its approximately about 39k & acer model with similar confi was about a thousand less...can anyone tell me y acer is not advisable..am kind of a noob in laptops so...

LOL..didn't know that...thanks for the info...so i finally ordered a dell 14R,with accessories & physical damage warranty,it comes close to about 40k...Thanks everyone for the help..was very much useful,now i have to wait for 12 days..

well i would correct a blooper i made. the acer 5740g starts at 39k and the core i5 config costs arnd 44k smthng with vat.
