Default suggest a 27"/24" monitor?

guys for my new pc i was thinking of a 24" monitor but then i saw 27" imac since then i am thinking of going for a 27" monitor.
though price is a issue. suggest a good quality 27" monitor. if it can come with like 14-15k then i would be intrested else i would have to go for 24" only.

btw people how is the experience of surfing net or watching 700mb divx/xvid movies on 24"/27" monitors?
is 27" too much i mean will there be like pixelation on 24"/27"

till now i have mostly used 17" and lower display sizes so dont know much.

27" won't come under Rs.15K.
Get Dell S2409W at around Rs.12.8K which is a Full HD 24" monitor. Watching 700MB rips will surely pixelate on such a big monitor but if you view from a distance of around 10 feets or higher it doesn't looks that bad.

first point if ur gonna have a 27 nch monitor its gonna be hillarious to sit in front of it and work from a close distance ...sometimes 24 inchers are unbearable ....but 27 are huge .....how far are u gonna sit from the monitor

2 point currently 22 inchers are pure value for money but today itself i got a dell 2410b at 12,300 from sp road bangalore , if i had gone for a 22 incher id have to pay just about 9 grand ...so imagine the same for a 27 inch monitor

3 point how many options will uhave for a 27 inch monitor , for a 24 incher i had to choose from 5 , but for a 22 incher u have the option of choosing from 15 different models , apply the same logic for a 27 incher

4 price --- which is the only governing factor so come to a descision about the screen size ACCORDING TO UR REQUIREMENTS AND OPTIONS ,

all the best

I am also in the market for a 24" monitor. Money is a limiting factor here also. I was thinking of BenQ G2420HD

I never knew I could get a Dell monitor under INR13K. But Price India doesn't have anything in that range (It doesn't have those models). Can anyone confirm?

@chiroo : Which shop in SP Road?
