help me for seagate hdd and logitech z 550

hi guys


i need to buy two thing
1. hard disk
2. speakers

after lot of research i narrowed down to 2 hard disk from seagate free agent flex series
1. 1TB portable @ 9400 + 5%
2. 2 TB need normal @9800 + 5%

now i am confused that which one to go for as my room is already cluttered and i am going to add drive also but dont wana add in system as i already have 250 gb in that so just wana these drive for back up and to move data from one place to other for sharing as i am having 3 laptop also so some time i need huge space for taking backup from them and also i love to have lot of movies simultaneously and from 1tb to 2 tb difference is only 500rs is bothering me but i am confused that 3.5 is bulky and also it need external power supply so it will became mess for me to handle lot of wires(i am buying 1st time so dont know about these thing...are they really a mess to carry around??)

SPEAKERS

for speakers i was after logitech z 550 which is 5.1 and its costing 16,900 but i just noticed that z-2300 is also there which is 2.1 and audiophile quality too so i am thinking again that 5.1 will make my room more messy....will you plz tell me that can i use z 550 in 2.1 mode and then when needed it will again get converted to 5.1 or i should go for z 2300 only

and what about the sound card with them...should i go for sound card also?if yes then which one?

about budget i am constantly adding things in them so if sound card is expensive then i ll save for 1 or 2 month again

250 gb hdd
15inch lg studiowork 700e monitor(lol)
250 watts psu
no graphic and sound card
