Exclamation Burnt Motherboard

My intel motherboard, still within warranty, did not connect to the internet,i took it to their service center. A burnt component was found. I was told that a burnt component is a physical defect, and thus does not come under warranty. From what I know a burnt component is not a physical defect, the component was probably faulty in the first place. Now Intel refuses to honour their warranty. What do I do now?

sorry to say but burnt parts aren't covered by warranty. and maybe it got damage cause of a faulty power supply (el cheapo ones) and not cause of any liquid falling on it.

still a good thing. but maybe its a catch. they'll state some parts aren't covered under warranty, etc. moreover Rashi Periperals have to be dealt with even for a simple flaw.
