My config is

Can i go for CM PSU, they are much cheaper than corsair and same wattage...
Do i need 550w or 450w....??
I am presently planning for Cooler Master GX 550....Can anyone tell me about its performance and reliability?

Cooler master GX 550 should do, but I would suggest better go for Corsair VX 550. it is known to be very reliable, quite efficient & suggested be many. Will cost 300-400 more than cooler master.

P.S.: Do not, in any case, buy cooler master extreme series PSU

Do any of corsair or CM provide onsite warranty on these models?

I'm not sure, but hardly any components come with an on-site warranty. However, you can check the warranty policy on the website.

take it to distributor or send it through courier for RMA.
