Question Using monitor as TV too

Hi my PC config is dual core 2.2GHz, 2 GB DDRII, ASUS P5KPL-CM motherboard, 17" CRT monitor

I am using Windows 7 .
Now I want to replace my CRT monitor with 22" LCD monitor. So please suggest the best one according to my needs.

My main purpose to purchase LCD is to use it as a TV

Also are speakers inbuilt into the LCD monitors(preference LCD with built in speakers) or my 2.1 speakers will work too ?

n do I need to purchase TV Tuner card as well ? please suggest best one . Will plugin cable for the time but will shift to Airtel Dish TV later on . So please suggest according to the compatibility.

Thanks !

You can buy LG TV Monitor (model No. LG M227WA). This comes with a remote, has full HD resolution. you can also consider Benq 22" LCD Monitor TV (Model No. SE2231) @ 12500

However, a normal 22" full HD LCD monitor from benQ or AOC for 8000 along with a TV Tuner card may be a cheaper solution. But if TV is a primary use, TV monitors are better unless you get a RF remote with a TV Tuner card.

Keep in mind though that pictures won't look as vibrant on these monitors as they do on 26", 32" or bigger LCD TVs as these are TN Panels while LCD/LED TVs are IPS panels which are much more expensive.
