Talking Buying a AMD processor


Hello vrybody


i have a gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard. i planning a AMD processor. and suggestions. money is not much the matter but i need a powerful cpu and probably a full virtualization supported and overclocking.... any option without these are also welcome.

If u can spend around 13.5 k then core i7 930 has no match.

For around 10 k u can go for 1055t which is superb in multithreading. If gaming i5 750.

All these are oc friendly.

B/W please fill up a questionere u might find in some other posts so that we can suggest u a good config.

you have a Intel G31 motherboard. to use AMD processor, you need a AMD motherboard. whats your budget? also whats your config?

look, if you going for virtualization & multitasking mainly, you can settle for AMD X6 1055T or X6 1090T BE. both are good processors & are OC friendly. & cost is moderate to tell the least.

on other hand you got Intel Core i7 930. another beast. settle for anyone.
