1. Try to fiddle in the Control Panel with the Sound Effect Manager. You could even try to re-install the audio drivers.

2. Do you keep ur mobile near the pc or ur woofer, it could also give out some irritating noises.

3. Might be even that ur woofer has got damaged.

4. If you think the Graphics driver is the culprit, remove it and just use the integrated graphics if present and check out the sound quality.

Which speakers you are using...? If they have an on/off switch, toggle that when the sound happens and it will disappear. This usually happens when components/and connectors get corroded inside. You can either get the changed, or buy a new one. Is it s average/cheap quality speaker. Mine is --- and it does that a lot. At times on channel totally fails, and I need to toggle on/off again.

First of all thnxx for reply.I had tried lots of time to reinstall the drivers but no befits from this.....
My speakers are new hardly 1 or 2 months later i had brought them for RS.2000 and yes there is a landline phone at the right side of the speaker i had tried to move it to somewhere else but the problem still persists. Also my woofers are ok.I will try to remove my graphic card and then check the sound!!!

mention the model of the speakers, we want to know. Rs. 2000 doesn't necessarily mean good speakers.

Check if the speaker is properly plugged into the socket, sometimes a loose plug may cause such sounds. Try plugging it into a surge protector.

I got a set for 1800 (three nodes), and on the 2nd day the scratching noise started.
