Buying Laptops in Delhi
Hi, I will be moving to India shortly to start college and I'm looking to buy a laptop in Delhi. This is my first laptop and I'm looking at a budget of about IR 34,000 or so.
Basic features include good battery life, 14" screen, core 2 duo 2 GB ghz 2GB Ram, web cam and (relatively) lightweight. Also after sales service is also a big question as I'm not sure as to which brands have good after sales service over there in India.
I'm looking at a Dell Inspiron 14 at the moment. The features (based on the Dell website) are
Intel® Core™ i3-350M Processor (2.26Ghz, 4Threads, 3M cache)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English)
3GB (1 X 1GB + 1 X 2GB) 2 DIMM DDR3 1333Mhz
320GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
14.0 Widescreen HD WLED Glossy Display with TrueLife™ (1366x768)
Intel® HD Graphics (India)
12.7" SATA Tray Load DVD+/-RW
Dell Wireless 1501 802.11b/g/n Half Mini Card
but I'm wondering if I should take any other brands into consideration and if the specifications above are worth the price. also, is the dell after sales service any good, or would you rather recommend another brand altogether?
Please help! I leave for India in a few days.

Hi,
You can also look at Compaq Presario CQ62-104TU Notebook PC (WK969PA) http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en...2-4143430.html as it has a bigger 15.6" Display & Lightscribe enabled DVD Drive.
