Default ups not providing backup upon power failure


hey friends it would be appreciated if any of you could help me out of this problem.

i have intex ups 600 VA . IT goes of as soon as the main power gets cut. but it provides backup if i try to check by switching of the power supply by myself.i am unable to figure out the problem.

At first i thought its the problem of the power supply but its fine.

help me folks

as per your info battery seems to be ok, get it checked - I think the switching circuit is not able to take load instantly.
